Week 15: {Firsts....}
Imagine my surprise when I go to look at the photo challenge for the week and it is {Firsts}. That day we just happen to get Andrew's FIRST haircut. I know, I know....it may have been a little soon for some of you (especially the grandmas), but it was time! The curly baby mullet needed to go! I was actually quite sad as I watched my friend cut off the curls, but I love the finished product. He no longer has crazy wayward hair, and he looks so old!! I am not a huge fan of him looking older, but I guess that has to happen sooner or later. He behaved really well during the whole haircut and did not cry at all. Of course I think the sucker had a little something to do with it! By the way, how can a person take a sucker the size of a dime and make such a mess?! Oh how I love this little boy!
Week 14: {What Home Means to Me}
You know the saying, "Home is where the heart is"? Well, it is very true. To me, home is not where we live or the things that we have. Home is wherever my family dwells. Home is Erik, Dylan, and Andrew. They are my home, and my everything!! I took the boys out on the porch the other day and let them play around. Sometimes they can be so loving towards each other, and I am glad to be able to capture those moments. Just after I took these shots, they started grabbing at each other and trying to wrestle!! Must they always wrestle?!
Running a llittle behind on posting! Week 13: {In Motion}
Happy {LATE} Easter to everyone!! I think time goes by twice as fast when you have little ones. These crazy boys keep me so busy....If I am not feeding them, or bathing them, then I am changing diapers, cleaning up toys, and trying to keep my house from looking like a war zone :) It WILL get easier, right?! Even though things are crazy around here, I would'nt change it for the world!
So this week's photo challenge was: {In Motion}. Well, is there a time that these two are ever NOT in motion? This was an easy one! We celebrated easter with Erik's family on Saturday and with my side of the family on Easter Sunday. We love having so much of our family in town, and it makes for really fun get togethers! The following picture is my picture for the project and the rest are just for fun!
We had a great Easter celebrating with family, but we were most thankful to celebrate what Jesus did on the cross for us. He took my our sins upon Himself and paid the ultimate price. In turn, He has given us the ultimate gift of eternal life. We worship and praise Him for He is the true giver and sustainer of life! Happy Easter!
