Dylan Update

Today we went to our routine check up at the eye doctor.  Dylan was his usual uncooperative self.  I think he is permanently damaged from all of the doctors visits.  He has a great time in the waiting room, but once we cross the threshold into the office, he freaks out.  Poor kid.  Although Dylan was not very cooperative, the doc was still able to get his eyes measured and his prescription needs to be increased 10%.  It is not the best news, but it is to be expected with the glaucoma.  The doc also has a new spiffy tool to measure pressure.  The tool does not even need to touch the eye at all, BUT the child has to keep their eye open voluntarily and look at the tool.  So needless to say, we could not test his pressure.  We have rescheduled an appointment for next month to try it again.  If that attempt is unsuccessful, then we will have to schedule an exam under anesthesia.  The dreaded exam that costs a small fortune.  Please pray along with us that we can get the pressure in the office.  Please pray that Dylan can be coaxed to look into the scary tool without us having to pry his eyes open.  His next appointment is February 11th.  Thank you in advance for your prayers!
